Your Impact:
As the EU Food Safety & Risk Governance Manager, you will:
- Lead Policy Development: Serve as the EU food safety expert, defining policies to detect and prevent unsafe food products.
- Drive Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with legal, product, data science, and business teams to close safety gaps and implement scalable solutions.
- Manage Risk & Escalations: Address safety/compliance escalations, regulatory inquiries, and media concerns with strategic precision.
- Champion Continuous Improvement: Innovate processes to mitigate risks and enhance customer trust in Amazon’s food offerings.
Who We’re Looking For:
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- 3+ years in food safety policy, compliance, risk management, or audit.
- Proven experience handling confidential data and managing complex programs.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in auditing, risk, or compliance (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000).
- SQL/Excel expertise and experience leveraging data to drive decisions.
- Track record of influencing policy with legal/public policy teams.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a passion for problem-solving.
